Hello,
We are Kate and Joel. You may have heard we’re in the process of adopting our first child. Here’s a little about ourselves:
Kate:
I am a middle school Drama and Photojournalism teacher. In my spare time I like to act, direct, sing, read, watch movies, seek out celebrity gossip, and spend time with my friends and family. I am very excited about the arrival of our first child, and can’t wait to decorate the nursery!
Joel:
I co-own my own Web development company in Portland. I write computer code all day (PHP, ASP, HTML, CSS, E.I.E.I.O.) which makes me a full-fledged geek. My main loves in life, aside from my wife (awww) are music, photography, and computers/technology.
I also like long walks on the beach, talking about clouds, and wondering “what’s it all about?”.
Both:
We live in beautiful Portland, Oregon, were born in 1977 (a great year in music), love architecture of the early 20th century, and have been together as a couple since the age of 16.
